“Violence & Abuse Awareness Campaign” is organized on Thursday, November 16, 2023 by the Municipal Equality Commission of Heraklion (D.E.P.IS.) and Emfasis Non-Profit, in cooperation with the Women's Hospitality Hostel d. Heraklion, the Women's Counseling Center of Heraklion - KETHI and the Association of Members of Women's Associations of Heraklion & n. Heraklion.

The aim of the Campaign is to raise awareness, which is needed to eliminate harassment and violence at all levels.

Part I

11:00am-14:00pm in front of Vikelaia Municipal Library:

-Information desk & on-the-spot interventions with distribution of information leaflets, in stores of the center, for

-Informing the public and trade professionals

Part II

6pm-8pm at the Polycenter of the Municipality of Heraklion:

Two-hour informational meeting on: “Reports of Domestic Violence & Abuse of Women — Methods for Identifying Victims”.
