As part of the activity of the Volos Homeless Bunk in the wider area, a mutual information meeting was held on 19/10/2023 with Emfasis Non-Profit at the site of the structure in Neapolis. The meeting took place within the framework of the Emfasis streetwork group's interventions on homelessness in the city of Volos after the floods that hit it. On the side of the homeless bunk, Theodoropoulou Vissaria, Social Worker, Varvara Itoudi Administrative and Financial Manager and Ioanna Parisi, General Assurance, and Emfasis were represented by: Sofia Santorinaiou, Social Worker and Vangelis Lygnos Economist — Street worker.

The aim of the meeting was to provide two-way information on the operation of the two bodies. More specifically, the operation of the homeless bunk and the streetwork team of the structure operating in the city of Volos were developed, the difficulties it faces and the unprecedented situation that the city is experiencing at this time after the floods. Emfasis first presented the action it has developed in Athens, the network of volunteers who support the operation of Emfasis Non-Profit and in which regions throughout Greece it provides its services. There was also a discussion on good approaches and research practices on how to develop referral and communication channels between the two bodies.
