A significant donation of food and essential supplies was made to the Mouzaki Municipality Social Grocery Store by Emfasis Non-Profit. The initiative involved the provision of non-perishable food and other basic goods, which were distributed to the Municipal Communities of Mouzaki, Mavrommati, Kappa, Pyrgos Ithomis, Magoulitsa, Agios Akakios, Lazarina, and Rizovouni, to our fellow citizens who are truly in need. The items were delivered by the Deputy Mayor for Social Policy & Volunteering, Ms. Marianna Ziaka, representatives of the non-profit organization Emfasis Non-Profit, and employees of the Municipality’s Social Grocery Store, with respect and discretion, reinforcing the Municipality of Mouzaki’s efforts to actively support vulnerable social groups.
The Mayor of Mouzaki, Mr. Theofanis Stathis, warmly thanked the representatives of the non-profit organization Emfasis Non-Profit for their significant contribution, emphasizing the importance of such solidarity initiatives, which, as he noted, “strengthen the social footprint and remind us that no one should be left alone to face difficulties.” For her part, the Deputy Mayor for Social Policy & Volunteering, Ms. Marianna Ziaka, thanked the non-profit organization Emfasis Non-Profit for its valuable contribution, as well as all the volunteers for their efforts. It should be noted that today, April 1, the Social Grocery Store of the Municipality of Mouzaki proceeded with the distribution of food and basic necessities to all communities within the Municipality, as is done on a regular basis every month.
